Blissful Vibes and Vows is the vision of 2 lifelong friends who both find indescribable happiness (bliss) in working with couples, planning and celebrating their big day. George Smetzer and Curt Swan have been collaborating with wedding planners, popular venues, and agencies for the past 8+ years as independent contractors, commissioned to officiate (perform) wedding and vow renewal ceremonies.
As veteran officiants, our #1 goal for you while helping you plan your wedding ceremony is to build a relaxed, trusting, comfortable relationship – creating Blissfulness throughout the entire experience, including making your once-in-a-lifetime event as stress-free as possible.
Blissful Vibes and Vows was created as word-of-mouth referrals have exploded for both George and Curt over the years, and they found the need to formalize a business and professionally promote their secret-sauce ingredients for easing the uncertainties engaged couples feel as they wind their way through the ceremony planning process.

Through 35 years in local ministry, Pastor Curt has married or renewed vows with thousands of couples. He has lost count. He has an analogy or funny story for nearly everything, and is widely complimented for being so down-to-earth.

As Officiants, we are more than document signers with a few canned words to make your marriage official. We offer a free consultation where we listen to your questions and special requests. We spend time together learning your personalities and preferences, and ONLY THEN create a beginning-to-end ceremony tailored to your dreams.
